Licensed Vocational Nurse - Clinic

Role Overview

Provides patient care under the supervision of physicians or registered nurses in a clinical setting. Performs basic patient care tasks, including obtaining vital signs, weighing patients, collecting specimens, and assisting with examinations and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Support patient flow, answer and record phone calls, and help schedule tests and appointments.
• Document patient information accurately and assist with medication refills.
• Administer medications and immunizations as ordered.
• Maintain cleanliness and restocking of exam rooms and equipment, following sterile and universal protocols.
• Perform routine clerical duties such as chart retrieval, filing, and completing forms.
• Participate in meetings, training, and other assigned duties.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
• Valid LVN license in the state of employment or in a compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8AM to 5PM.
