Licensed Vocational Nurse - Clinic

Role Summary

Provides patient care under supervision of physicians or registered nurses, following established standards and practices. Performs basic clinical tasks, assists with patient examinations and treatments, and supports clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, weigh patients, collect specimens (including phlebotomy), assist with examinations and procedures, and support patient flow.
• Answer and record phone messages, assist with scheduling tests and appointments, and document patient information.
• Administer medications and immunizations per provider orders, and assist with medication refills.
• Maintain cleanliness and restocking of exam rooms and equipment, order supplies, and ensure sterile techniques and universal protocols are followed.
• Perform routine clerical duties such as chart retrieval, filing, and completing forms, and participate in meetings and training.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
• Licensed LVN in the state of employment or a compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
