Licensed Vocational Nurse - Clinic

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care tasks such as obtaining vital signs, weighing patients, and collecting specimens, including phlebotomy.
• Assist providers with examinations, treatments, and procedures, as well as manage patient flow.
• Answer phone calls, record messages, and support scheduling and documentation related to tests and medication refills.
• Administer medications and immunizations as ordered, and maintain cleanliness and stock of exam rooms and equipment.
• Complete routine clerical duties like chart retrieval, filing, and form completion.
• Participate in meetings, training, and perform additional assigned duties.

Requirements

• Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the relevant state or a compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
