About the Role

Provides patient care under supervision of physicians or registered nurses, following established standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care duties such as obtaining vital signs, weighing patients, and collecting specimens, including phlebotomy.
• Assists providers with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Supports patient flow, manages phone communications, schedules tests, and documents patient information.
• Administers medications and immunizations as ordered by providers.
• Maintains cleanliness and restocking of exam rooms and equipment, adhering to sterile techniques and protocols.
• Performs clerical tasks like locating charts, filing, and completing forms.
• Participates in meetings, training, and performs additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
• Licensed LVN in the state of employment or holding a compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
