About the Role
This position provides professional nursing care in a clinical setting, collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform general nursing duties, administer treatments, and assist providers during examinations and tests.
- Observe, document, and report patient conditions, reactions, and vital signs.
- Manage appointment scheduling, prioritize emergency cases, and maintain patient flow.
- Greet patients, obtain medical histories, prepare for exams, and instruct on sample collection.
- Perform various clinical procedures such as specimen collection, wound care, administering medications, and patient education.
- Coordinate testing, admissions, and referrals, including assisting with specialized procedures if trained.
- Respond to phone inquiries, prescribe refills per protocol, and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
- Maintain exam rooms, participate in professional development, and adhere to confidentiality and safety policies.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
- Valid state nursing license and current BLS certification.
- Preferred prior medical office experience.

- Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills.
