Licensed Social Worker - On Call Day Shift

Responsibilities

• Conducts psychosocial assessments, develops and implements social work plans, and provides therapy for individuals, families, and groups.
• Carefully manages cases by coordinating resources, offering referrals, advocating, and educating, ensuring appropriate patient placements.
• Assists in program development, policy implementation, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Conducts research, documentation, and participates in departmental activities.
• Serves as a consultant, trainer, and participant in departmental activities to support staff.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in social work and valid social work license (Licensed Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Hawaii).
• Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association.
• Experience working with medical diagnoses and community agencies preferred, with at least one year of social work experience recommended.
