About the Role
Provides nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, focusing on patient data collection, monitoring, and documentation. Performs licensed patient care functions and offers patient/family education.
Responsibilities

- Delivers individualized care based on a plan developed by healthcare professionals, addressing physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual, psychosocial, and educational needs.
- Monitors and documents patient vital signs, drains, dressings, lab results, and responses.
- Communicates patient status, activities performed, and changes to the healthcare team.
- Maintains confidentiality and accuracy of medical records.
- Collects and documents data using specialized equipment and orients patients and families to routines.
- Administers and documents medications as per policy.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Completion of an approved LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing.
- Minimum of one year LPN experience or equivalent training such as residency programs or LPN to RN transition programs.
- Current LPN license recognized by NCSBN Compact or state licensing authority.
- If obtaining RN licensure, must notify management; temporary acceptance of RN license is possible.
Skills
Knowledge and skills are basic or as required for LPN practice.
