About the role
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Med Surg to join a dedicated inpatient care team in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities
- Performing comprehensive patient assessments and documenting findings accurately
- Administering medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitoring patient conditions and responding promptly to changes
- Developing, implementing, and adjusting individualized care plans
- Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and support staff
- Educating patients and families on treatments and recovery
- Maintaining precise clinical documentation
- Upholding standards for safety, quality, and infection control
Qualifications and Skills
- Active LPN license in Alabama
- Minimum of 3 months nursing experience, acute care preferred
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic hospital setting
