Registered Nurse (RN) - PRN, Day

About the role

Provides direct and indirect nursing care to employees at client sites, supporting occupational health and wellness programs. Operates independently within established policies and medical directives, performing health assessments, triage, first aid, and case management for work-related and non-work-related conditions.

Responsibilities

• Administering basic first aid, preparing employees for evaluations, and managing follow-up care.
• Participating in substance abuse testing, collecting specimens, and reporting results.
• Performing occupational health testing such as audiograms and vision screening.
• Maintaining accurate records, supplies, and educational materials.
• Supporting clinic operations, safety, and wellness programs, and contributing to policy development.
• Providing back-up nursing support across locations and assisting with clinical duties as needed.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing and current RN license recognized in the practice state.
• At least 3 years of nursing experience or 2 years in Occupational Medicine nursing, with urgent/emergency care background preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification; Occupational Health Nursing certification preferred.

Skills

• Knowledge of workers' compensation and case management processes preferred.
