Legal Administrative Assistant

About the role
The Administrative Resource Center Legal Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to a team of attorneys, paralegals, and business support personnel.
Responsibilities
- Create and edit documents and maintain e-filing of client/matter-related documents
- Organize inboxes and file emails
- Perform document comparisons
- Arrange travel and coordinate meeting arrangements
- Process expenses and invoices in collaboration with Williams Lea
- Edit daily time entries for narrative accuracy, including reviewing WIP reports to support clean diary entries according to client guidelines
- Reconcile temp time when new matters are opened
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail
- Provide overflow support to the San Francisco Administrative Resource Center
Requirements
- College degree or equivalent
- Expert proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to seamlessly perform and prioritize multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external lawyers, staff, and clients
- Expert communication skills
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and strong decision-making capability
Pay
The anticipated pay range for this role in San Francisco, CA is $79,100–$114,700. In addition, this role is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance. The actual offered rate will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors, including qualifications, experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
Schedule
This position requires hybrid on-site presence as an essential function of the role. Consistent and predictable on-site presence is required for ongoing business continuity, professional development, and effective collaboration with colleagues and management.
