About the role

The Department of Educational Psychology seeks part-time lecturers to teach courses in MFT, P.P.S. credential, or Education Specialist (special education) programs, and/or supervise students or student learning. Teaching assignments include courses at the Hayward campus, Concord Center, and/or online.

Responsibilities

  • Teach courses in MFT, P.P.S. credential, or Education Specialist (special education) programs.
  • Supervise students or student learning.

Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in addition to relevant professional experience and credentials or licenses, including Counseling Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Educational Psychology, Psychology, Special Education, Education, School Counseling, or School Psychology.
  • Doctoral degree preferred.

Salary

Ranges for the Lecturer-Academic Year classification are listed below:

  • Lecturer AY (Range 2): $5,507 - $6,677
  • Lecturer AY (Range 3): $6,221 - $13,224
  • Lecturer AY (Range 4): $6,825 - $14,523
  • Lecturer AY (Range 5): $8,593 - $15,211
