About the role

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a Lead Statistician with a proven track record successfully working as the primary statistical expert as part of a collaborative team in a dynamic environment. The Lead Statistician will provide statistical analysis and methodology support for Government-originated data analysis studies, develop tactical study plans to answer business questions, perform quantitative research, and provide written summaries of study results.

Responsibilities

• Select and implement statistical analysis appropriate for the problems presented and conduct statistical analyses to derive conclusions.
• Engage with customers and team members on design and methodological issues.
• Evaluate the relative advantage of collecting new data versus using extant data.
• Define statistical design and methodology to meet study needs.
• Interpret research requests, develop analysis plans, and perform high-level statistical analysis, statistical sampling, and compute required sample sizes.
• Develop new applications and methodologies for existing or newly acquired data, and lead design efforts in selecting statistical methodology.
• Communicate findings in written documents and provide oral briefings.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a Poly.
• Master's degree/PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or related STEM field.
• 10 years of experience as a Statistician.
