About the role
We are a plaintiff-side employment law firm located in El Segundo, CA, seeking a full-time associate attorney with 1-7 years of experience to join our team. Our litigation practice consists of approximately 90% wage and hour class actions, and 10% individual employment matters (e.g., FEHA claims).
Responsibilities
- Handle depositions and court appearances
- Write and research legal documents
- Advocate in court
- Manage and handle wage and hour class actions
- Handle individual employment matters
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active member of the California Bar
- 2-7+ years of litigation experience, preferably in employment law
- Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
- Familiarity with California Labor Code and FEHA
- Experience handling depositions and court appearances preferred
- Class action or PAGA experience a plus
Qualifications

- Health Insurance: Multiple HMO/PPO options available. Firm contributes 50% of employee-only premium for a base PPO plan, applicable toward any offered plan. Eligibility begins the 1st of the month after 30 days.

- 401(k): Eligible after 3–6 months. Firm contributes 3% of salary.

- Bonus Structure: Discretionary year-end bonus based on performance, plus annual raises.
- Origination Bonus: 12.5% of fee awards without outside referral / 7.5% with outside referral.
Pay
$125,000 - $220,000 per year
