About the role

We are a plaintiff-side employment law firm located in El Segundo, CA, seeking a full-time associate attorney with 1-7 years of experience to join our team. Our litigation practice consists of approximately 90% wage and hour class actions, and 10% individual employment matters (e.g., FEHA claims).

Responsibilities

• Handle depositions and court appearances
• Write and research legal documents
• Advocate in court
• Manage and handle wage and hour class actions
• Handle individual employment matters

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active member of the California Bar
• 2-7+ years of litigation experience, preferably in employment law
• Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
• Familiarity with California Labor Code and FEHA
• Experience handling depositions and court appearances preferred
• Class action or PAGA experience a plus

Qualifications

Benefits

• Health Insurance: Multiple HMO/PPO options available. Firm contributes 50% of employee-only premium for a base PPO plan, applicable toward any offered plan. Eligibility begins the 1st of the month after 30 days.

• 401(k): Eligible after 3–6 months. Firm contributes 3% of salary.
• Life Insurance: $25K life + $25K AD&D provided at no cost. Optional additional coverage available.
• Bonus Structure: Discretionary year-end bonus based on performance, plus annual raises.
• Origination Bonus: 12.5% of fee awards without outside referral / 7.5% with outside referral.

Pay

$125,000 - $220,000 per year
