About the role

These opportunities are focused on California labor and employment law, employer-side litigation, advice and counsel, workplace counseling, administrative matters, class actions, single-plaintiff employment litigation, and high-stakes employee disputes. Candidates must be licensed in California with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Focus on California labor and employment law
• Advise and defend employers in litigation and counseling
• Manage high-stakes employment litigation and administrative matters
• Prepare motions, briefs, and legal arguments
• Conduct discovery, depositions, and arbitrations
• Provide compliance counseling and policy development
• Represent clients in wage and hour disputes, PAGA, and class actions
• Develop and implement litigation strategies

Requirements

• Licensed in California
• Experience in labor and employment litigation or counseling
• Comfortable advising or defending employers
• Strong writing, analytical, and client-facing skills
• Interest in California workplace law and employment disputes

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience for Labor & Employment Associate positions
• 1-7 years of experience for Labor & Employment Litigation Associate position
• 8+ years of experience for Employment Law Senior Attorney position

• PAGA litigation strategy
• Legal filings and settlement/trial representation
• Compliance counseling and labor law audits
• Employee classification and meal/rest compliance

Pay

• $170K-$250K for Labor & Employment Associate - Sacramento
• $150K-$215K for Labor & Employment Associate - Los Angeles / Irvine, CA
• $150K-$350K + monthly profit-sharing potential for Labor & Employment Litigation Associate - Los Angeles, CA
• $175K-$230K for Employment Law Senior Attorney

Schedule

• Hybrid / Remote for Labor & Employment Associate - Sacramento and Labor & Employment Associate - Los Angeles / Irvine, CA
• On-site for Labor & Employment Litigation Associate - Los Angeles, CA
