Responsibilities

  • Focus on California labor and employment law
  • Advise and defend employers in litigation and counseling
  • Manage high-stakes employment litigation and administrative matters
  • Prepare motions, briefs, legal arguments, and other legal documents
  • Conduct discovery, motion practice, depositions, and case management
  • Provide client counseling and strategic guidance
  • Work closely with partners and clients on various employment law issues

Requirements

  • Licensed in California
  • Experience in labor and employment litigation or counseling
  • Comfortable advising or defending employers
  • Strong writing, analytical, and client-facing skills
  • Interest in California workplace law and employment disputes

Qualifications

  • 3-8 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in areas such as PAGA, class actions, compliance, and wage/hour audits
  • Expertise in areas like wage and hour laws, FEHA, and employment litigation
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
