About the role
Veridos America is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Program Manager to support the delivery and ongoing operations of the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) Driver’s License and Identification Card System. This is a hands-on delivery and account support role that works directly alongside the Senior Program Manager and key customer stakeholders. The role supports the implementation of software systems at the ID card personalization plant in Bolingbrook, Illinois, as well as the hardware and software infrastructure across 178 Deputy Registrar sites serving all 88 counties in Ohio.
As the Ohio BMV implementation transitions into steady-state operations, this role will gradually expand to support additional Veridos customer programs and accounts, providing a clear path for professional growth within the Professional Services organization.
Location: Columbus, Ohio (Metro Area)
Work Environment: Hybrid. Up to three days per week on-site with the Ohio BMV client team based on project and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain project schedules, workplans, work breakdown structures (WBS), action item logs, risk registers, issue logs, status reports, and project documentation for assigned customer accounts.
- Coordinate project meetings with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders, including preparation of agendas, meeting materials, meeting minutes, action item follow-up, and executive status reporting.
- Support preparation and submission of contractual deliverables, including Ohio BMV G1–G7 requirements and customer-specific deliverables.
- Monitor project and account health, including milestones, service levels, contractual commitments, risks, issues, and escalations.
- Assist with customer relationship management and service delivery reporting metrics.
- Support account growth activities including proposals, renewals, change requests, and onboarding/delivery of new projects.
- Represent Veridos professionally in customer-facing meetings, planning sessions, project reviews, operational reviews, executive briefings, and stakeholder engagements.
- Coordinate with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to support project execution, operational activities, issue resolution, and contractual commitments.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with customer stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Communicate proactively when commitments, milestones, deliverables, or service levels are at risk.
- Support ongoing account operations by monitoring service levels, KPIs, contractual commitments, and operational performance metrics.
- Prepare customer-facing operational reports, scorecards, QBRs, MBRs, and other performance documentation.
- Contribute to RFP responses, proposal development, project transitions, account planning activities, and other Professional Services initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, project delivery methodologies, reporting capabilities, and customer outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
- 2–5 years of experience in project coordination, program management, account management, operations management, customer success, professional services, or a related customer-facing role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management/collaboration tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, collaborate in a matrixed organization, and drive work to completion.
- Strong customer-facing, analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 15% based on business needs.
- U.S. citizenship required and subject to successful background screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, CAPM, or active pursuit of a PMI certification.
- Experience with state/local government, DMV programs, identity management, or regulated industries.
- Knowledge of PMI, Agile, Hybrid Agile/Waterfall, Scaled Agile, or ITIL methodologies.
- Experience supporting government contracts, account management, contract deliverables, and executive reporting.
- Experience supporting proposals, pricing exercises, contract modifications, and RFP/RFI responses.
- Experience coordinating geographically dispersed teams, subcontractors, vendors, or field service organizations.
- Experience supporting business operations, customer success, service delivery, or account management functions.
