About the role

Leidos is seeking a Junior Program Manager to focus on Cross-Program Operations, Proposal Management, AI Initiatives, and Program Efficiencies. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are eager to drive mission-critical outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Cross Program Coordination & Management
    • Serve as POC for Cross Program cost analysis, metrics tracking, customer communications, and deliverable management.
    • Track cross program dependencies, risks, action items, and milestones.
    • Facilitate communication between program managers, technical teams, leadership, and stakeholders.
    • Prepare status reports, dashboards, and briefings.
    • Monitor program performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Support program reviews, customer meetings, and operational planning activities.
  • Proposal Management & Growth Support
    • Serve as Proposal Manager or Deputy Proposal Manager for strategic opportunities and recompetes.
    • Support development of proposal artifacts such as BOEs, CAM Inputs, FFQs, etc.
    • Track proposal milestones, risks, deliverables, and review outcomes to ensure on-time, compliant submissions.
    • Assist Program Managers in developing growth strategies and identifying opportunities for expansion within existing contracts.
  • AI Initiative Management
    • Coordinate AI-related projects and initiatives across business and technical teams.
    • Track AI use cases, pilots, implementation activities, and adoption metrics.
    • Monitor AI initiative progress, risks, resource needs, and outcomes.
    • Support development of AI governance, compliance, and responsible AI practices.
    • Identify opportunities to leverage AI technologies to improve operational effectiveness and business outcomes.
    • Organize and facilitate recurring meetings, working groups, and leadership reviews.
    • Document decisions, action items, and follow-up activities.
  • Program Efficiency & Continuous Improvement
    • Identify opportunities to improve program execution through automation, standardization, and process optimization.
    • Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting tools, templates, and workflow solutions.
    • Coordinate implementation of operational improvements that reduce administrative burden and increase program performance.
    • Support resource planning, workload management, and process improvement initiatives across programs.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting government programs.
  • Experience supporting proposal development, business development, capture management, or growth activities.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies.
  • Experience supporting AI, automation.
  • Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Power BI, Microsoft Project, Jira, SharePoint, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of data analytics, dashboards, and business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and executive leadership.

Success Metrics

  • Successful coordination of cross-program activities and dependencies.
  • Timely delivery of program reporting, customer deliverables, and executive communications.
  • Successful management and submission of compliant, high-quality proposals.
  • Advancement and adoption of AI initiatives.
  • Measurable improvements in program efficiency and operational performance.
  • Stakeholder satisfaction and collaboration effectiveness.
  • Contribution to business growth, proposal wins, and strategic initiatives.

Pay

Pay Range: $73,450.00 - $132,775.00. The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
