About the Opportunity
The IT Support Desktop Support Technician role is a full-time, second-shift position focused on delivering remote and occasional on-site technical support to clients across multiple states. The position contributes to resolving complex technical issues, supporting IT infrastructure, and enhancing client satisfaction through effective problem-solving and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote support to geographically diverse clients using standard remote tools and ticketing systems.
- Deliver on-site assistance to clients as needed.
- Support client end users and IT staff with issues related to applications, servers, virtualization, networking, security, and more.
- Escalate and coordinate resolution of complex issues with third-party vendors and team members.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis on complex problems to achieve one-time resolution.
- Participate in internal projects to support the growth of the Support Practice Group.
- Provide regional on-site support when necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field, or at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and follow-up.
- Solid problem-solving and technical troubleshooting abilities.
- Preferred experience with Windows Server, Exchange infrastructure, server and network administration, software deployment, and document management.
- Experience with Windows desktops.
- Virtualization and storage experience strongly preferred.
- MCSE or similar technical certifications strongly preferred.
Pay
Base salary range of $55,000 to $65,000, adjusted based on qualifications, experience, and location. Eligibility for bonuses or commissions in certain positions.
