Desktop Support IT Technician

Responsibilities
- Provide, high-level, on-site, and remote technical assistance for VIPs, staff, and healthcare teams.
- Resolve 1st and 2nd level IT incidents.
- Manage hardware/software installations.
- Ensure system uptime to support fast-paced, critical business operations.
- VIP/Site Support: Provide face-to-face and remote support to VIP users and staff, focusing on urgent resolution.
- Incident Management: Manage the resolution of hardware and software tickets using ticketing systems, adhering to SLAs.
- Hardware/Software Management: Setup, configure, and troubleshoot laptops, desktop equipment, and peripherals.
- Onboarding/Offboarding: Assist with setting up IT equipment and accounts for new employees.
- System Maintenance: Ensure workstations and network equipment are updated and functioning correctly.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Windows-based systems and hardware troubleshooting.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills to support high-pressure environments.
- Experience in Active Directory, VPN, and Microsoft 365.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize critical tasks.
Qualifications
- Previous Helpdesk or Desktop Support or PC Technician experience is preferred.
- IT certifications are desirable for this role.
Top Skills Preferred
- 2 years of Desktop IT Support Experience.
- Any healthcare IT is a bonus.
- Microsoft 365, VPN, ActiveDirectory, EMR Support (Cerner).
- Windows 11, imaging and deployment experience.
Pay and Benefits
