IT Manager - Business Systems

For our client, we are seeking a IT Manager - Business Systems to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. This role will oversee HR and administrative business systems that support operational reliability, strategic alignment, and effective service delivery. You will partner closely with executive leadership to translate business priorities into executable technology plans and guide a high-performing team through coaching, planning, and cross-functional coordination. The position also plays a key role in advancing large-scale digital transformation efforts while balancing portfolio governance, project execution, and budget discipline. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually Responsibilities Plan and coordinate operations of the HR/Admin unit to align with IT goals and business priorities Partner with leadership to translate strategic vision into actionable plans Foster high-performing IT teams through coaching and mentorship Deliver HR/Admin unit projects on time and within budget Govern the HR/Admin application portfolio to ensure reliability and strategic alignment Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems/IT, Electronics, or a related STEM field Minimum 10 years of relevant IT experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication skills for engaging executive leadership Proven experience in budget management and vendor oversight Knowledge of HR and administration IT systems such as ServiceNow and SAP Benefits Opportunities for professional growth and continuous learning Collaborative work environment fostering innovation Engagement in large-scale digital transformation efforts Onsite work with potential for one remote workday per week upon approval Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
