Position Information
The mission of the Department of Health is to protect and improve the health and well-being of all Arkansans.
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate the maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting of information technology infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
- Act as the primary point of contact for infrastructure-related projects and initiatives, ensuring clear communication.
- Aid in planning and implementing new technologies to enhance infrastructure performance and scalability.
- Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure systems, processes, and changes.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, cybersecurity protocols, and organizational policies.
- Provide technical support and guidance to teams and end-users regarding infrastructure systems.
- Develop and maintain schedules for routine maintenance and system updates.
- Support disaster recovery planning and implementation, ensuring business continuity.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in information technology infrastructure or related roles, such as systems or network administration.
