Intern - Nurse - Orthopedics/Neuro

About the role

Provides technical assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse for a specific group of patients to support quality patient outcomes. Facilitates communication with staff, patients, and guests, and performs additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients under the guidance of a registered nurse.
• Assists in developing, implementing, and evaluating care plans.
• Delivers patient care and supports nursing staff as directed.
• Participates in activities aimed at improving healthcare delivery.
• Builds clinical leadership knowledge and engages in ongoing education.
• Completes assigned goals efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a registered nursing program awaiting licensure, with a maximum of 90 days in the Nurse Intern II role.
• Computer literacy is required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
• Preferred candidates will have additional training and education to enhance their skills.
