Intern - Nurse - Orthopedic/Neuro

About the role

Provides technical assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse for a designated group of patients to promote quality outcomes. Responsible for communication with staff, patients, and guests, along with performing additional assigned duties.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients under the guidance of a registered nurse.
• Contributes to developing and implementing individualized care plans.
• Participates in evaluating and updating care plans.
• Assists with patient care and supports nursing staff as directed.
• Engages in activities aimed at improving healthcare delivery.
• Builds clinical leadership knowledge through ongoing education.
• Completes assigned goals and responsibilities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of a registered nursing program awaiting licensure, with a maximum of 90 days in the Nurse Intern II role.
• Basic computer literacy.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire preferred.
