Intern - Nurse

Job Summary Provides technical assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse for a designated group of patients to support quality outcomes. Handles communication with staff, patients, and guests, and performs additional duties as assigned. Responsibilities Assesses patients following the guidance of a registered nurse.Contributes to developing and implementing a plan of care.Participates in evaluating patient care and outcomes.Assists nursing staff with patient care activities.Engages in initiatives to improve healthcare delivery.Builds clinical leadership knowledge and participates in ongoing education.Completes assigned goals efficiently. Qualifications & Skills Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program with projected graduation within one year, or provides documentation of current enrollment and good standing.Must demonstrate computer literacy.Obtains BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
