Intern - Nurse

About the role

Provides technical assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse to a specific group of patients, supporting quality patient outcomes and effective communication with staff, patients, and guests. Performs various duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients under nurse guidance.
• Contributes to developing and implementing individualized care plans.
• Executes care plans and evaluates patient progress.
• Assists nursing staff with patient care needs.
• Participates in initiatives to enhance healthcare delivery.
• Builds clinical leadership knowledge and engages in continuous education.
• Completes assigned goals efficiently.

Qualifications & Skills

• Currently enrolled as a senior student in an approved nursing program, within one year of graduation.
• Meet or exceed academic requirements.
• Computer literacy.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire (preferred).
