In Home Health Care RN - Low Acuity Days - Full Time or Part Time

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled home healthcare services in the Austin area.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and documenting patient care according to physician care plans
• Assessing patient conditions, recognizing changes, and implementing appropriate interventions
• Updating and developing nursing care plans
• Educating patients and families on disease management and self-care
• Ensuring infection control and compliance with healthcare regulations
• Maintaining accurate documentation of assessments and actions

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid, active RN license in the practicing state
• Current CPR certification and TB test within last 12 months
• Six months of hands-on nursing experience preferred
• Reliable transportation and strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Key Duties

• Providing care for adult patients with acuity involving feeding tubes, medication administration, and non-invasive ventilation
• Participating in ongoing education and skill development
• Adapting to various home environments and ensuring safety and compliance

Additional Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 pounds, travel, and respond effectively to emergency situations
