In Home Health Care RN - Low Acuity Days - Full Time or Part Time

About the role

We are seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide skilled home healthcare services in Austin (78748). This role requires adaptability to various environments and physical capacity to handle emergency situations, including lifting and mobility tasks.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and documenting nursing care per care plans and physician orders
• Assessing patient conditions, monitoring changes, and reporting findings
• Developing, updating, and implementing nursing care plans
• Educating patients and families on disease management and self-care
• Ensuring infection control and compliance with regulations
• Maintaining accurate documentation and participating in ongoing education

Requirements

• Active, unencumbered RN license in the practicing state
• Current CPR certification
• TB test within the last 12 months
• Reliable transportation and physical ability to perform required tasks

Qualifications

• Preferred: Six months of clinical nursing experience; home health experience is a plus
