In Home Healthcare RN: Low Acuity (Part-time and Full-time Availability)

About the role

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Covington, LA. This position offers a flexible schedule on Mondays and Fridays from 8am-8pm.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients requiring feeding tube, tracheostomy, and medication administration.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills in caring for complex patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient care electronically using tablets provided in each patient's home.
• Support career growth through skill advancement and paid training opportunities.

Requirements

• Maintain an active, unencumbered license (LPN/LVN) in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification (with hands-on component).
• TB skin test (within the last 12 months).
• Six months of hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered license (LPN/LVN) in the state of practice.
• Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days.
• Current CPR certification (with hands-on component), available through Aveanna after hire.
• TB skin test (current within the last 12 months).
• Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation.

Pay
