In Home Healthcare RN: Low Acuity (Day Shifts)

About the role

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Houma, LA. This position offers a flexible schedule, including Monday-Friday shifts from 6:15am-5:15pm.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients in their homes.
• Document patient care electronically using tablets provided in each patient's home.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality clinical outcomes.
• Adhere to all health-related requirements, including required vaccinations and exemptions.

Requirements

• Maintain an active, unencumbered license in the state of practice.
• Have current CPR certification (with hands-on component).
• Pass TB skin test within the last 12 months.
• Have six months of hands-on nursing experience (preferred but not required).
• Reliable transportation is required.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as an RN in the state of practice.
• Compact license must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days.
• Must have reliable transportation.
