In Home Healthcare RN: High Acuity (Day Shifts)

About the role

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Houma, LA. This position offers a flexible schedule on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8am-5pm.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients requiring feeding tube, tracheostomy, ventilator, and medication administration under supervision.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans.
• Document patient care in accordance with company standards and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (LPN/LVN) in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification (with hands-on component).
• TB skin test (current within last 12 months).
• Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation.
