In Home Healthcare RN: Low Acuity (Part-Time and Full-Time availability)

About the role

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Gramercy, LA. The schedule offered is either Monday-Friday from 3pm-9pm or weekends from 8am-4:30pm. Training for feeding tube and medication administration is available.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate care to patients in their homes
  • Administer medications and monitor patients’ responses
  • Assess and document patient conditions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards

Requirements

  • Maintain an active, unencumbered license (LPN/LVN) in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification (with hands-on component)
  • TB skin test (within the last 12 months)
  • Six months of hands-on nursing experience preferred

Qualifications

  • Reliable transportation

Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a compassionate nature are essential.
