About the role
The Oregon Department of Human Services is seeking a bilingual Human Services Case Manager to support families transitioning into independence through collaboration and partnership within the agency and the community.
Responsibilities
- Provide person-centered, strength-based practice to assist families in achieving independence.
- Engage families in assessment, goal setting, and service coordination.
- Determine eligibility for state programs and issue grant payments.
- Develop and maintain a base knowledge of employment services and resources.
- Assist with crisis and safety planning for individuals experiencing domestic violence.
- Support employability readiness and provide meaningful referrals.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Three years of human services related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A Bachelor's degree in a Behavioral Science, Social Science, or a closely related field.
Qualifications
- Experience recognizing and addressing symptoms of trauma.
- Ability to engage families using culturally relevant strategies.
- Strong time management and organization skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

$5,554 - $7,386 per month.
