Human Services Case Manager. Bilingual English/Spanish Required

About the role

The Oregon Department of Human Services is seeking a bilingual Human Services Case Manager to support families transitioning into independence through collaboration and partnership within the agency and the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered, strength-based practice to assist families in achieving independence.
• Engage families in assessment, goal setting, and service coordination.
• Determine eligibility for state programs and issue grant payments.
• Develop and maintain a base knowledge of employment services and resources.
• Assist with crisis and safety planning for individuals experiencing domestic violence.
• Support employability readiness and provide meaningful referrals.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Three years of human services related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A Bachelor's degree in a Behavioral Science, Social Science, or a closely related field.

Qualifications

• Experience recognizing and addressing symptoms of trauma.
• Ability to engage families using culturally relevant strategies.
• Strong time management and organization skills.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

$5,554 - $7,386 per month.

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
