Human Resources Specialist, Pharmacy Operations

Responsibilities

  • Support frontline managers with employee relations matters, performance management, and day-to-day HR questions across hourly operations.
  • Aid in workplace investigations, including gathering facts, documenting findings, and escalating complex issues appropriately.
  • Coach managers on performance conversations, progressive discipline, and policy application.
  • Review and provide guidance on corrective actions and performance improvement plans.
  • Support responses to unemployment claims and employment-related matters.

Employee Experience & Operations Support

  • Partner with People Operations to coordinate FMLA, leave of absence, and accommodation requests.
  • Support new hire onboarding coordination with People Operations, IT, and Workplace Services.
  • Conduct exit interviews for hourly employees and identify trends in turnover data.
  • Ensure accurate completion of termination documentation, checklists, and offboarding processes.
  • Serve as a point of contact for day-to-day employee lifecycle questions.

People Programs & Leadership Support

  • Support talent programs, including performance reviews, calibration sessions, and goal-setting processes for hourly populations.
  • Help managers document employee issues and deliver effective feedback.
  • Build manager capability to handle routine employee relations matters independently.
  • Maintain awareness of employee performance, engagement, and other metrics to identify trends.
  • Support change management communications for HR programs and organizational updates impacting operations teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is required.
  • At least 3–4 years of human resources experience supporting hourly populations in a production or metrics-based environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law (FMLA, ADA, etc.) and HR best practices.
  • Experience coaching managers and handling standard employee relations issues with sound judgment.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Experience in pharmacy, healthcare, fulfillment, or high-volume operations environments is preferred.
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced, high-growth, and constantly evolving environment.
  • Ability to work independently while building strong, trust-based relationships across teams.
