About the role

The Human Resources Operations Specialist is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of HR systems, employee data, and operational processes. This role supports the employee lifecycle through onboarding, offboarding, HRIS administration, audits, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update employee records across HR systems including SuccessFactors, Anaplan, and ADP.
  • Support end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring timely completion of documentation, system access, and workflow tasks.
  • Process employee status changes including hires, transfers, promotions, compensation updates, and terminations.
  • Conduct regular HR data audits to ensure accuracy, compliance, and data integrity across systems.
  • Partner with Payroll, IT and managers to resolve employee data discrepancies and process issues.
  • Generate recurring and ad hoc HR reports and dashboards for leadership and operational needs.
  • Support HR compliance activities including document retention, I-9 tracking, and audit preparation.
  • Auxiliary with system testing, upgrades, integrations, and process enhancements.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures and process documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR operational efficiency and employee experience.
  • Assist with contracting and procurement processes, as well as managing vendor invoices and payments.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR Operations team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of HR operations, HRIS, or HR administration experience.
  • Experience working with HR systems such as SuccessFactors, Anaplan, ADP, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience supporting multi-state or complex organizational structures preferred.
  • HRIS administration experience.
  • Knowledge of HR data governance and compliance practices.
  • Process improvement and systems optimization experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay

The expected salary range for this position based on greater Boston, MA location is $93,840-122,400. Actual salary pay will be based on multiple factors, including geographic location, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
