Staci Americas is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support the daily functions of the Human Resources department, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, training, performance management, and HR operations. This role partners with leadership and employees to support company goals while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
Responsibilities
- Support the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screenings, interviews, and onboarding.
- Conduct new hire orientation and assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Maintain employee records and ensure HR documentation is accurate and compliant.
- Assist employees and managers with HR-related questions, policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
- Support performance management processes, corrective actions, and employee investigations as needed.
- Coordinate leave of absence administration, including FMLA, ADA, workers’ compensation, and other leave programs.
- Assist with benefits administration, enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries.
- Support payroll processes and partner with payroll to resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Assist with training initiatives, employee engagement activities, and HR projects.
- Prepare HR reports, metrics, and audits as requested.
- Partner with management to support workforce planning and staffing needs.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information.
- Support safety initiatives and workplace investigations when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of Human Resources experience preferred.
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid position that requires both on-site presence and remote work based on business needs. Typical work environment includes both professional office settings and active warehouse operations.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Regular use of computers, phone, and warehouse visits and walking in high-volume areas.
