Bilingual HR Generalist

LaSalle Network is partnering with our client, well-established, privately held manufacturing organization that has a strong national footprint and is serving major retailers, to hire a Bilingual HR Generalist in Chicago, Illinois. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a confident, service-minded HR professional who can support a fast-moving manufacturing environment and a predominantly Spanish-speaking employee population. In this Bilingual HR Generalist role, you’ll be a key partner to onsite leadership, helping translate and navigate employee relations, supporting day-to-day HR needs, and strengthening recruiting processes as the organization continues to evolve. If you enjoy variety, can pivot quickly, and want visible impact, this Bilingual HR Generalist position offers meaningful hands-on experience. Responsibilities Support day-to-day HR operations for an onsite manufacturing plant environment.Provide bilingual (Spanish/English) communication support, including translation during employee relations conversations as needed.Assist with recruiting process support and help drive more effective hiring workflows.Partner with HR leadership and provide support to an onsite HR coordinator.Operate effectively in a union environment and adapt to evolving plant leadership and organizational change. Qualifications 3–5 years of HR experience.Bilingual in Spanish (required).Prior exposure to or experience supporting recruiting processes.Ability to work confidently and independently in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.High customer service orientation and strong communication skills.Experience using an applicant tracking system (Paycor experience is a plus).Comfort supporting a workforce with varied Spanish dialects and cultural backgrounds.
