Bilingual HR Generalist

About the role

We're seeking an HR Generalist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a background in human resources or a related field with 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Bilingual English-Spanish proficiency is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage human resources initiatives including recruitment, retention, compensation, benefits, training, and employee relations
• Ensure policies, procedures, and programs are consistently administered, aligned with organizational goals, and compliant with professional standards, state and federal regulations, and laws
• Advises and coaches managers on HR policies and programs, including retention and employee relations issues; helps solve complex personnel matters
• Affirms and develops HR strategies and processes
• Captures new hire orientation, benefits open enrollment, and company-wide meetings
• Processes, verifies, and maintains documentation related to HR activities such as staffing, training, and performance evaluations
• Conducts training sessions on OSHA and other HR topics
• Maintains employee files, including physical and electronic records
• Takes on other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
• 3-5 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong business acumen and knowledge of HR best practices
• Solid computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize projects and adapt to changing deadlines
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
• Ability to take initiative and work independently
