Hospital President

About the Role

As President, you will provide comprehensive operational leadership for your specific entity. You will execute the system's strategic vision within your defined domain, translating overarching organizational goals into actionable, localized plans. You will be fully accountable for the operational and financial performance of your area, including day-to-day management, budget oversight, and leadership of all local staff, while reporting directly to a higher-level executive within the system.

You will lead teams in managing resources—personnel, budget, and facilities—to meet operational targets and deliver high-quality patient care. Additionally, you will engage with community stakeholders, local leaders, and patient populations to build strong relationships and solidify our presence in the local community.

Your role includes monitoring performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency, patient satisfaction, and financial health, all while aligning with our mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Articulate a long-term vision for CHI’s contributions to the Greater Houston community.
• Sustain and strengthen a faith-based healthcare ministry as a beneficial distinction.
• Develop and implement a strategic plan to ensure the long-term fulfillment of the System’s mission and sufficient net return on investment.
• Develop and implement a managed care strategy as part of an integrated health delivery system, building networks of payers and physicians to provide a full continuum of high-quality, cost-effective, and accessible health services.
• Recruit, select, motivate, and lead a highly competent staff, delegating appropriate responsibility and authority to actualize the System’s vision.
• Ensure the quality of the full continuum of health services through effective hospital and medical staff quality assurance mechanisms, and compliance with bylaws, rules, regulations, and standards of practice.

Requirements

• Master’s degree (required upon hire).
• Fifteen (15) years of leadership experience (required upon hire).

About the Workplace

St. Luke’s Health–Brazosport Hospital is located on a 25-acre campus in Lake Jackson, Texas. The hospital offers state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment services, including a 154-bed patient tower, a level III trauma center, an advanced cardiac care center, and a full-service, multidisciplinary cancer center. The team consists of over 100 board-certified physicians and nearly 600 highly skilled employees.

Pay

$127.74 - $178.84 per hour.
