The President

The President will serve as the senior executive leader responsible for establishing, stabilizing and advancing a newly acquired hospital in the Derby, Kansas community. This role carries shared accountability for bringing the Ascension Mission, Vision and Values to life while leading the transition from acquisition through operational readiness and long term sustainability.

About the Role

This effort represents the reopening of a recently closed hospital and requires a leader who can navigate ambiguity, rebuild trust with the community and workforce, and deliver disciplined operational execution from day one.

Education

• Bachelor's degree with 10 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 5 of those years being in leadership/management
• Master’s degree in health or hospital administration, business administration, or a related field (preferred)

Additional Preferences

• Experience leading through periods of growth, transformation or operational start up is strongly preferred
