Home Care Aide - 6 Months Experience Required

Responsibilities

• Follow client care plans and complete daily tasks via EVV or electronic timesheets.
• Assist with personal care such as bathing, grooming, ambulating, and helping with meals and oral hygiene.
• Utilize equipment like walkers and wheelchairs safely.
• Encourage clients' self-help and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Notify supervisors of any health changes, safety issues, or concerns related to client wellbeing.
• Respect client confidentiality, privacy, and rights.
• Provide quality care within scope, avoid tasks beyond credentials, and seek guidance when needed.
• Assist with self-administration of medications (without direct administration).
• Report any abuse, neglect, or unsafe conditions immediately.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred; ability to read and write required.
• Minimum of 6 months caregiving experience validated through references.
• Must be 18 years or older.
