Responsibilities
- Follow client care plans and complete daily tasks via EVV or electronic timesheets.
- Assist clients with personal care such as bathing, grooming, ambulating, feeding, and using mobility aids like walkers and wheelchairs.
- Encourage client independence and ensure safety precautions are followed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, reporting safety concerns or changes in client condition.
- Respect client privacy and confidentiality, and provide quality care within scope of practice.
- Assist with household tasks such as laundry, cleaning, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
- Monitor client well-being, reporting any abuse, neglect, or unsafe situations immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred; ability to read and write required.
- At least 6 months of validated caregiving experience.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to assist with self-administered medications (not to be administered directly).
