About the role
We are seeking Personal Care Aides to provide weekend assistance in the Rocky Mount area.
Responsibilities
- Follow client care plans and complete daily tasks via EVV or electronic timesheets.
- Assist clients with personal care such as bathing, grooming, ambulation, meal prep (including special diets), feeding, oral hygiene, and transfers using equipment like walkers and wheelchairs.
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
- Support clients with self-help activities and minor household tasks like laundry and grocery shopping.
- Respect client confidentiality, privacy, and rights at all times.
- Do not administer medications but support self-administration.
- Report changes in client condition, unsafe situations, or concerns about abuse or neglect.
Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred, with ability to read and write.
- At least 6 months of validated caregiving experience.
- Must be 18 years or older.
