Role Overview

This position involves providing direct patient care in a high-risk cardiology unit, managing patients with conditions such as CAD, HTN, arrhythmias, heart failure, valve disease, and pulmonary hypertension. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans, educating patients and families, and ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Key Duties

• Promote patient- and family-centered care and educate on illness management, medication, and post-discharge needs.
• Develop and document care plans collaboratively, communicating effectively across care teams.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and barriers.
• Participate in professional development and ensure safety standards are met.

Qualifications & Skills

• RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; Bachelor's preferred.
• No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and extensive EKG training are advantageous.
