About the Role

Provides direct patient care in a high-risk cardiology unit, managing complex cardiac conditions such as coronary artery disease (CAD), hypertension (HTN), arrhythmias, heart failure, and post-procedure care. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans while promoting patient and family-centered care. Ensures safety, quality, and regulatory compliance and educates patients on illness management and medication use. Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.

Requirements

• Licensed RN with a Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• No prior experience required; less than two years of experience preferred.
• Certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
• Extensive EKG skills.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork abilities.
