About the role

This position involves providing direct patient care in a high-risk cardiology unit, managing patients with conditions such as CAD, HTN, arrhythmias, heart failure, and valve disease. The nurse collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, develops and implements individualized care plans, and educates patients and families on illness management and post-treatment care. Critical skills include assessment, diagnosis, planning, and evaluation, ensuring safety and quality compliance. The role requires promoting patient-centered care, safety, and professional development.

Qualifications & Skills

• Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; Bachelor's preferred
• Valid RN license; BLS, ACLS, and extensive EKG certifications are advantageous
• No experience required; 2+ years preferred
• Critical nursing skills, communication, teamwork, patient education, and safety awareness

Key Duties

• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs of patients
• Develop, implement, and document care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
