About the role

Seeking a registered nurse for a high-risk cardiology unit dedicated to caring for patients with complex cardiac conditions such as CAD, arrhythmias, heart failure, and pulmonary hypertension. The role involves providing direct patient care, assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote patient and family-centered care, including education on illness management, medication, and post-treatment care.
• Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and contribute to professional development.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team and patients/families.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.
• Ensure effective communication across care continuum and adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma or associate's degree
• Current RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• 2+ years of experience
