About the role
UnitedHealthcare is expanding its team in Minnetonka, MN with multiple Medicare Sales Agent openings. This inbound call role offers a competitive base salary, bonuses based on sales performance, and a flexible hybrid-remote work model.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls from prospective members, identify assistance needs, and convert callers to qualified leads and sales
- Navigate multiple computer systems to document member information while engaging with customers
- Demonstrate knowledge of the product portfolio to assist members in selecting appropriate products
- Absorb and complete enrollment applications over the phone, adhering to product requirements and guidelines
- Meet performance, attendance, and consumer experience goals
- Obtain necessary state insurance licenses during training
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or 4+ years of customer service/sales experience
- Within 30 days of starting, must obtain all appropriate state insurance licenses (training will cover this)
- Flexible to work regular shifts, including weekends and evenings
- Live within commutable distance to the Minnetonka, MN office

Pay
The hourly pay for this role ranges from $16.00 to $24.04 per hour based on full-time employment. Bonuses are also based on sales performance. The sign-on bonus for external candidates is up to $3,000.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with flexibility based on the seasonality of the business. The work schedule includes operating hours of Monday - Friday 7:00am - 7:00pm local time, with rotational weekend work (Saturdays/Sundays).
