Health Insurance Sales Agent

About the role

UnitedHealthcare is expanding its team in Minnetonka, MN, seeking multiple Medicare Sales Agent openings. The role involves inbound calls to assist customers with insurance needs, matching appropriate coverages, products, and benefits. Training is provided to obtain necessary state insurance licenses.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and convert callers to qualified leads and sales
• Navigate multiple computer systems to document member information
• Explain product differences and assist with product selection
• Complete enrollment applications over the phone
• Meet performance goals in areas of performance, attendance, and consumer experience
• Maintain agent licensure and product certification requirements

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or 4+ years of customer service/sales experience
• Within 30 days, must obtain all appropriate state insurance licenses (may be completed during training)
• Ability to work regular shifts, including training period, with flexibility to adjust schedule and work overtime/weekends
• Live within commutable distance to the Minnetonka, MN office

Pay and Schedule

• Hourly pay range: $16.00 to $24.04 per hour
• Full-time position with flexibility based on seasonality
• Hybrid-remote work model after training and onboarding period
