About the role

This position is the front line for interfacing with patients at the 23rd Ave Recovery Center in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate is flexible, compassionate, and professional, with at least one year of relevant front office customer-facing experience in healthcare, hospitality, or banking. We will provide training.

Responsibilities

  • Greet individuals coming into the clinic in a professional and courteous manner, assisting their needs promptly with compassion.
  • Process patient check-in and notify appropriate staff of patient arrivals.
  • Update relevant information during auto-flow by completing a four-point check.
  • Review and update daily schedules, ensuring all necessary data is accurately collected.
  • Gather and maintain patient demographics, ensuring accurate and complete information in compliance with UDS guidelines.
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of insurance levels, including Medicare, Medicaid, commercial plans, and other types.
  • Perform intake interviews and gather required information and paperwork.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year of relevant front office customer-facing experience in healthcare, hospitality (e.g., meetings, conventions, hotels), or banking.
  • Front office experience in healthcare, behavioral health, dental, or a medical office is preferred.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
