The Health Relations Specialist is the front line for interfacing with patients in Terros Health Centers. Reporting to the Practice Supervisor, the ideal individual is flexible, compassionate and professional. Schedule
Full Time, Employment Schedule: Mon - Thurs, 10:00am - 6:30pm ; Fri, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Responsibilities
- Greet individuals coming into the clinic in a professional and courteous manner, assist their needs promptly with compassion, in accordance with Terros Health values.
- Process the check in of patients and notify the appropriate staff member of the arrival of patients.
- Update relevant information during auto-flow by completing four-point check.
- Review and update the daily schedules; ensuring all necessary data is accurately collected.
- Gather and maintain patient demographics, ensuring accurate and complete information, in compliance with UDS guidelines.
- Basic knowledge of insurance levels, such as, Medicare, Medicaid, commercial plans, and various other types.
Qualifications
- Minimum One-Year Relevant Front Office Customer Facing and Focused Service Experience in Healthcare, Hospitality (i.e., meeting or conventions, hotel), or Banking required.
- Front Office Experience in Healthcare, Behavioral Health, Dental or a Medical Office is Preferred.
